and is situated in the Kingdom of The Netherlands (Holland, Dutch, Amsterdam, Ajax, cheese, tulips, wooden shoes, dikes, cows, water, windmills etc.)
and is hidden on 7/25/2001
Here is a map.
Here is a scenic picture.
And here more scenic pictures made by F. de Bruin (Spoilers!)
Here is an old b/w aireal photograph (spring 1989, 300 m height).
Here is an new colour aireal photograph (summer 2000).
If you like meadows, beer and camping then this is a place to look for.
De mini-cache is a tupperware box of 500 cc (10x10x5 cm) containing:
- log, pencil, eraser, sharpener
- coins from FarAway and Nearby
- flippos (Pokemon) and some small things
On the Dutch topographic maps with Amersfoort Grid the position is 0096.533/0460.744
There is a nice walk possible along the Weipoortse Vliet that is also part of the longer 'vier heemskinderen' route (whatever that may be) starting at:
N 52° 07.704'
E004° 31.653'
where there is also parking place for a (1) car.
You will pass a pole-camping. No drinking water here and a lot of sheep-shit around. The soft droning of the nearby highways and trains will make you feel sleepy and ensure a good nights sleep. But not for long: before sunrise awfull cries of seagulls will wake you up real good!
The position of the rusty windmill next to the camping is N 52° 07.823' E004° 31.793' and is marked on the Dutch 1:50.000 scale topographic map, the camping is not.
Standing on the bridge you have a view of meadows, the campingwood, the Vliet and Heineken Beer. The big white tanks contain enough beer for 2 weeks for the whole population of the Netherlands.
Next to the bridge is a table for eating and drinking (picknick-place).
Following the bicyclepath the distance from the road is 500 meter if you come from N 52° 08.038' E004° 31.614'

The beer mystery.
When I placed the cache I made a photograph. See here:
Just above the railing there is a big truck driving in the parking lot of Heineken across the road. When enlarged it has unquestionable an 'Amstel' logo and colors! Is Amstel the same as Heineken nowadays?
