This here is one of the few pictures where I am visible in full ceremonial dress. This picture is taken in the spring of 2001.

On the bridge and in the background the mysterieus Piet Vogelaar is standing but an umbrella makes his head invisible.
The building in the background is the medieval University building of the University of Leiden.

It is difficult to find me in the picture; with those clothes and headgear all professors look alike. But be assured: I am not the person walking in front!
